1. Remove water rings. To remove water rings left on wood furniture, mix equal parts vinegar and olive oil. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and rub on the water ring. Use another cloth to dry and shine up the wood.

2. Remove candle wax. Soften the wax using the hottest heat setting on a blow dryer and blot up as much wax as possible. Remove the remaining wax by rubbing a cloth dipped in a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water.

3. Unglue stickers, decals and price tags. Saturate the corners and sides of the sticker with pure vinegar. Use a credit card to scrape away the sticker. Remove leftover residue by applying more vinegar and wiping off with a clean cloth.

4. Shine your silver. Soak silverware in a mixture of 1/2 cup vinegar with 2 tablespoons baking soda for 2-3 hours. Rinse in cold water and dry with a clean, soft cloth.

5. Remove mildew. Dip a clean cloth in pure vinegar and apply to surface covered in mildew. Rinse or wipe away with a clean, wet cloth. You can also prevent mildew from forming on the bottoms of rugs by filling a spray bottle with white vinegar and spraying it on.

6. Remove smoke odor. Remove lingering smoke odor by placing a shallow bowl full of vinegar in the room most affected by the smell. The odor should be gone within a day.

7. Unclog and deodorize drains. Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda followed by 1 cup of vinegar down a clogged drain. Wait 5 minutes and flush with cold water.

8. Remove carpet stains. Rub light carpet stains with with a mixture of 2 tablespoons of salt dissolved in 1/2 cup vinegar. Let the solution dry and vacuum it up.

9. Eliminate grease stains. Remove grease stains from your kitchen table or counter by wiping them down with a cloth dampened in a solution of equal parts of water and vinegar.

10. Refresh your refrigerator. Use equal parts of water and vinegar as a solution to wipe down both the inside and outside of your fridge.

11. Disinfect cutting boards. After each use, wipe down with a rag dipped in pure vinegar to disinfect and deodorize your cutting board.

12. Wash your dishwasher. Place a cup full of vinegar on the top shelf of your dishwasher. Run dishwasher on the hottest setting possible without any detergent.

13. Remove stains from pots and pans. Mix 1 teaspoon vinegar for every cup of water needed to cover the stain. Put pot on the stove and let boil for a few minutes then rinse in cold water.

14. Make an all-purpose cleaner. Fill a spray bottle with 2 parts water to 1 part vinegar and add a few drops of dishwashing liquid.

15. Clean a dirty thermos. Fill a thermos with warm water and 1/4 cup of vinegar. Close and shake well. Rinse with water and let air dry.

16. Make better hard boiled eggs. When you are making hard boiled eggs, add 2 tablespoons of vinegar for every quart of water to keep shells from cracking and make them easier to shell.

17. Clean fresh produce. Add 4 tablespoons of vinegar to 1 gallon of water and rinse produce.

18. Relieve sunburn and itching. Dab the infected area with a cotton ball dipped in vinegar.

19. Improve breathing. Add 1/4 cup vinegar to the water in a steam vaporizer to ease congestion from a chest cold or sinus infection.

20. Soften your cuticles. Soften cuticles on fingers and toes by soaking them in pure vinegar for a few minutes.

21. Clean eye glasses. Add a few drops of vinegar on your lenses and wipe them off with a clean, soft cloth.

22. Treat a bee sting. Pour pure vinegar onto the bee sting and use a credit card to remove the stinger.

23. Tone facial skin. Dip a cotton ball in equal parts of vinegar and water and rub on your face to tone and tighten.

24. Clean sponges and dish rags. Let rags and sponges soak in enough water to cover them and 1/4 cup vinegar. Let soak overnight.

25. Remove soap scum. Scrub with a solution of 1 part salt to 4 parts vinegar.

26. Deodorize a toilet bowl. Pour 3 cups of vinegar into the toilet bowl and let sit for an hour before flushing.

27. Make nail polish last longer. Rub your fingernails or toenails with a cotton ball dipped in vinegar and let dry before applying polish.

28. Make window cleaner. Combine 1/2 cup ammonia, 1 cup vinegar and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in a gallon of water.

29. Remove wallpaper. Use a paint roller to wet the surface with a solution of equal parts vinegar and hot water. Peel off.
